As I began to hang my favorite photographs from our family travels, I realized that images of inanimate objects could illicit strong feelings, too. It's like my brain remembers how awestruck I felt being at the Louvre when I see a photo I took there. I just love revisiting some of our favorite places by simply walking into a room.
Maybe you've traveled to the places I've been or maybe it's on your "to-do" list. Or maybe the colors in an image coordinate with your decor or set a mood you like. Whatever the reason, I hope you love these images that bring me so much joy.

I've always appreciated creativity, art and the way it makes me feel. My house is filled with things I made - curtains, wall art, floral arrangements, pillows, clothes, hand painted furniture and portraits. I enjoy the creative process and have such a sense of accomplishments when I see the finished product serve its purpose and look great.
The photographs I took and hung on my walls started as portraits of my three kids. My portrait photography business consists primarily of family photos, senior portraits and sports photography, helping others by creating wall art that captures the essence of their family. Fun Fact: Children that grow up in a home with photos of them displayed have a higher level of self-esteem than those that don't.
